“ Frenglish: “To sleep at the switch
— Stéphane Dion, current leader of the Liberal Party in Canada (now in federal election), used that expression on television today. Dion, often been criticized for his lack of a perfect English, was trying to describe someone’s inaction in regard with the world economic crisis. His expression was borrowed from the French-Canadian colloquialism “dormir sur la switch”.
